The reason we are advising every detail, major or minor, in regard to pension issues in State Bank of India is to apprise the reader pensioners of day to-day developments on the issues including cases pending in different courts. This exercise is aimed at to enable them to be aware of the very spirit and seriousness with which they are pursued by the channels involved. As pointed out by K R Saini as follows below in his writeup, there is nothing new in appointing a new bench as it was already done earlier on day to-day basis showing the world that the issue was given a top priority. In fact nothing was done. Let us see what transpires this time and what degree of seriousness is attached to decades old problems.

  1. A sad commentary indicative of the apathy and casual attitude of judiciary and Government of India towards the genuine needs of senior citizens who had worked in a dedicated manner during their lifetime

  2. We should not permit anybody to surrender or barter the genuine demands of the pre 2002 retiree pensioners’of sbi ,especially the die hard pre-retirees ,now in their seventies, eighties and nineties cannot be denied their dream of a decent living atleast for a few more years.
The attitude of our some people shows that they are trying to make the issues of pre 2002 sbi retiree pensioners a forgotten yesterday
I am of opinion that each and every affected pensioners should send a POST CARD to The Chief Justice of Delhi High Court requesting him to bestow his attention to speed up the final proceedings, considering the advanced age of these pensioners

  4. This is really disturbing news. If the same set of judges have not bothered to take up the case for 6 long months in spite of it being listed as 1A, what is the guarantee that it will be taken up now? If at all there was some movement in the proceedibgs, it was during the tenure of the previous set of judges. Is there not any way out There seems to be no end to our sufferings.
