Pension issues in SBI and compassion based appointments:

These are the two most burning issues confronting the anxiety of the pensioners/ retirees as from State Bank of India. Despite a Herculean sort of effort in the matter nothing tangibly clear is coming out. Now that a Committee is being formed which in a way means only continue waiting for their recommendation in indefinite terms. On compassionate appointment, the bankers are forcing their own interpretations to see that there are no such recruitment made despite necessary guidelines as from the Government of India. My office is flooded with the queries ‘what happened Sir’, ‘where do we stand now’ ‘any development’? and like that a big series of qusadestions. Questions from the readers are welcome but repeating the same thing a thousand times may not bring forth the requisite outcome. My request to the pensioners/ retirees is to have necessary patience. They can ofcourse keep watching relative posts on this blog and also the page (just on the top of every page named as ‘NEWSPAGE’) exclusively monitored by K R Saini putting hard labour. Efforts wise we are not at all lagging behind but the result part of it is not in our hand at our sweet will. I request you all to please bear with us till the requisite outcome does emerge.

  1. I AM THANKFUL TO SHRI NEELKANTH JI FOR WRITING THIS POST AT THE APPROPRIATE TIME WHEN GOVERNMENT AS WELL AS BANK ARE PLAYING DELAY TACTICS AND POLY BY CONSTITUTING A COMMETTE BY M.O.F TO STUDY THE PENSION ISSUES IN S,.B.I.IT IS WONDERFUL THAT M.O.F HAS AWAKENED AFTER 16 YEARS WHAT HOW LONG THEY CAN PLAY DELAY TACTICS .SHRI NEELKANTH JI AND MYSELF BOTH ARE OF THE VIEW THAT WE WILL WIN THE COURT CASE.ALL THE S.B.I PENSIONERS SHOULD NOT LOOSE PATIENCE AND HOPE. TRUST ON GOD AND IT IS BETTER TO HOPE FOR THE BEST.SHRI NEELKANTH JI STARTED THIS BLOG IN MAY 2007 AND I JOIN THIS BLOG IN APRIL,2010 AND WE HAVE WRITTEN ON PENSION ISSUES MUCH FOR SO MANY YEARS.I FEEL THAT AT THIS JUNCTURE I SHOULD NOT COMMENT AS OUR CASE IS SUB-JUDICE.BUT I AM OF THE DEFINITE VIEW THAT PENSION SHOULD BE PAID AS PER ”STATE BANK OF INDIA EMPLOYEES PENSION FUND REGULATIONS” WHICH IS STATUTORY IN NATURE AND LAW WILL PLAY ITS ROLE ACCORDINGLY IN DUE COURSE OF TIME
