Is extreme calorie cycling bad/dangerous? via /r/Fitness

The intake of extra calories is always supposed to be a balanced one as both extra and too low doze of them is harmful to health. People, particularly the patients, have to remain doubly cautious about it.

I’m not talking eating 800 calories above my target and then eating 200 calories less than normal for a couple of days. I’m talking big, lets say eating 6000 calories when your target intake for the day is 2000 and then compensating by not eating at all the following next days. How will my body react to this? is this even safe to do at all?
